What you need to supply


​Once we made an appointment for a treatment, we will come to your home at the agreed day and time. You do not need to do anything but prepare a clear area (size at least 1.5m x 3m) in the quietest room available. We will bring couch and equipment, room fragrances, scented candles, even two speakers with relaxing music, and clean big towels. We also recommend that you set a pleasant room temperature ensuring that the room is warm enough for you to be comfortable (around 22-23 °C), and that family, friends and pets are otherwise occupied to minimise disruption.

That room will be your sanctuary to promote the relaxation and to get the maximum benefits from the treatment.



How you can choose your treatment


It depends on the reason for the treatment:

  • If you want to relax your body and your mind, we recommend "Relaxing Massage"
  • If you want to feel more energetic and invigorated, we recommend "Revitalising Massage"
  • If you want to soothe aches and pains, we recommend " Pain Relief Massage"
  • If you want to experience more than one of the effects above, we recommend choosing ​ "Customised for You!". It is the most complete and therapeutic treatment. Without you noticing we will continually assess your muscles, joints, and tissues so that if we notice tension or stiffness in a particular part of your body, more attention and focus can be given to that area, by adapting our techniques and movements, and spending extra time on them. We will also bear in mind the targets you would like to achieve. We will consider your life situation and your work. After this treatment you will feel relaxed, renewed, and your pains relieved.


If you are not sure which treatment is right for you, don't worry, we will discuss your needs and we will help you decide what will be most beneficial.

Please note: a part from the Lymphatic Drainage Massage, the price will not depend on the kind of treatment, but just on the duration that you chose in advance.



About the duration


The duration of a treatment will depend on you, your time and your budget. You can choose from 40 minutes onwards. For a session shorter than 40 minutes the price will not vary. For a full-body session the essential time is 70-80 minutes, but we suggest to experience at least the 100 minutes session (currently on special price). Just keep in mind that the more time you spend the more effective the treatment will be. It will be an investment in your health and well-being!

Please note that I normally need about 15 minutes to set up my equipement before the session and to gather it at the end. At the very first session I will additionally perform a consultation which takes about 10-20 minutes. For the first session only, please calculate about 45 extra minutes to the treatment you have chosen.



Before the treatment (consultation)


  • The first time we meet:
    after we get to your home and park the car, we will give you a consultation form to fill in,​ while we sort out the equipment. We will ask you to pay extra attention to the “Conditions and/or Symptoms” session, so that we will be able to figure out whether or not a contraindication is present (either absolute, regional or conditional). Then we will have a brief verbal consultation.
  • From the second time onwards:
    you do not need to fill in any form. We will just ask you whether your conditions have changed.
About your clothes

The best way to get benefits from a massage is without clothes on the part of your body that is massaged. With regard to a full-body massage the best way is to take off all your clothes, except for your underwear especially if you think you will feel uncomfortable without it.

You can be covered with towels at all time, unless you prefer not to be covered. It allows to be undressed and at the same time retain warmth, comfort, and preserve modesty. Only the portion of the body that is being massaged will be temporarily uncovered. Towels can be also good because of the loss of temperature from your body during the manipulation of muscles and tissues. This is why it is very important that the room temperature is warm (around 22-23°C).

If you feel uncomfortable to be undressed or to stay only with your underwear even under the towel, you can choose to keep your clothes on, but it is not recommended because the effectiveness of the treatment will be very affected. We can talk about this aspect before the treatment.



Getting undressed:


As we are ready to start the session, we will ask you to take off the clothes as discussed, and we will leave you alone in the room. if you are using a towel you will try to cover yourself as best you can. With respect for your privacy we will leave the room to go to the bathroom to wash hands with hot water and soap, and wear the uniform, to allow you to get undressed and to cover yourself. After a few minutes we will be back and ready to start.



Our mediums


The best mediums for a massage are oils or gels. Sometimes I use massage cream. They are professional products, hypoallergenic and with natural nourishing substances and vitamin E, that are being absorbed by the skin; therefore they do not usually stain the clothes. If you do not like being “oiled-up”, you have the chance to choose talcum powder, but the effectiveness of the treatment will be affected.



How will you feel after our massage?


Marvellous! Extremely relaxed and lighter. Stress, tensions, mental and physical fatigue, pains (caused by irritated nerves or grade 1 strained muscles during the subacute stages, some post-injury discomforts and posture issues​) and aches will be relieved, leading to renewed energy and ambition. You will have an unbroken night's sleep after just one of our treatments. Some clients experience a renewed sense of confidence and control.

After a massage treatment it is recommended to drink a lot of water to help flush waste products and lactic acid out of the body.

You might experience, if you are not used to long therapeutic sessions, some residual soreness or a very slight headache as after-effects of the treatment. This is due to an increase in metabolic waste material in the circulatory system and will pass within a few hours. After that, you will feel better than ever again.



How frequently you should receive this treatments


Massage is probably the most powerful and at the same time natural way to de-stress the human body. It has the potential to alleviate pain, reduce strain, and bring relaxation and pleasure. Everyone can benefit from a good massage on a regular basis, no matter what you do. You can feel the benefits of our treatments for several days. We suggest you to contact us for a regular treatment at least once or twice a month. It will improve the quality of your life.

The American writer Robert Braiult said: “Massage is the only form of physical pleasure to which nature forgot to attach consequences”. Another reason to think that the more massages the better your mental and physical health.

COVID-19 Policy  -  Working environment:

Due to the current situation, apart from staying at least 2 metre apart (or, if it's not possible, 1 metre as we wear masks) before and after the massage, there are a few changes/adaptations in the service at the moment, in order to minimise risk of transmission, and protect my clients and myself.
I will ask my clients:
1- to wear a mask/face covering, and wash their hands before the massage. I will wear a visor and/or a mask to protect them. Your mask will protect me.
2- to open at least a window and possibly the room door, at least partially, which is necessary to ensure ventilation of the room and good air quality (I can set a really efficient electric heater to compensate some cold air that could come in from the window. This way my clients don't feel any cold.)
3- to provide a couple of towels, normally 1 very big and 1 medium/big, to avoid taking home with me, as dirty laundry, towels which have been used by my clients after a massage and so minimise transmission between our households
